Un regret … incapacité à modifier le passé

qui ne peut plus se produire mais qu’on aurait aimé voir se produire. Regretter, c’est admettre en son cœur que ses souhaits ne peuvent pas toujours se réaliser, et reconnaître son incapacité à modifier le passé. Pour se délivrer de ce dernier, s’incliner devant cette réalité est primordial. Se pencher ainsi sur ce qui n’est pas possible incite en effet à progresser pour mieux distinguer ce qui est possible. Ce point clarifié, on pourra plus aisément accueillir la compassion nécessaire à la bonne cicatrisation de ses blessures et, à terme, trouver l’inspiration qui permettra de donner à nouveau son cœur. En somme, la résignation émotionnelle qui accompagne les regrets apporte la paix. Peu à peu, au fil de ce processus, on abandonnera ses espoirs passés au profit de nouveaux…
